Education:

  • 1983-1985: Study at the Mozarteum in Salzburg
  • 1985-1987: Study at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna with Wolfgang Schulz
  • Master classes with Aurèle Nicolet, Peter-Lukas Graf and Robert Aitken

Pedagogical Experience:

  • 1991-2001: Assistant to Wolfgang Schulz at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna
  • Since 1994: Instructor at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz
  • 1997-2000: Teacher of chamber music for winds at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna
  • Since 2001: Teacher of performance at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna
  • Since 2009: teacher at the Joseph-Haydn-Conservatory in Eisenstadt
  • Workshops and summer courses in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia and Japan

Artistic Experience:

  • Since 1986: Solo flutist of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra
  • 1988-1993: Solo flutist of the Niederösterreichischen Tonkünstler Orchestra
  • 1989: Founder of the Ensemble Vienna 2001, concentration on contemporary music
  • 1993: Solo flutist of the Zurich Opera Orchestra
  • 1997: Founder of the duo “Double Image“with Berndt Thurner (percussion)
  • Regular concerts with the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic, Klangforum Vienna, Cappella Andrea Barca and Camerata Salzburg, with artists such as Emmanuel Pahud, Wolfgang Schulz, Clemens Hagen, Hansjörg Schellenberger, Heinrich Schiff, among others. Concert tours throughout Europe, South America, USA, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
