Part-time Music Research PhD (Guitar and Composition) at the University of Surrey, Guildford, England with Prof. Steve Goss.

2006- 2013:
Guitar studies, Bachelors (2011) and Masters Degree (2013) at Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts(Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien) with Prof. Alvaro Pierri.

2007- 2012:
Composition studies, Bachelors (2010) and Masters Degree (2012) at Conservatory Vienna University(Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien) with Prof. Reiner Bischofand Prof. Christian Minkowitsch.


Pedagogical Experience:


Since 2018:
Professor for Guitar, Guitar Pedagogy and Chamber Musicat the the Joseph-Haydn Conservatory (Joseph-Haydn-Konservatorium des Landes Burgenland) in Eisenstadt, Austria.

Lectures (as „visiting professor“ at 13 Music Universities in USA: i.a. The Juilliard School, Curtis institute of music, Manhattan School of Music, The New York University NYU, etc.

2017 – 2018:
Guitar teacher at the Music School Walgau, Austria

2013 – 2016:
Guitar teacher at the Music School Musikschule Frankfurt am Main

  • Published works: Les Productions d’OZ (Canada), Berben (Italy), Trekel (Germany), Recital Music (England), Katowice University Publisher (Poland);
  • Commissions: Washington National Gallery of Art, Bandini-Chiacchiaretta duo, Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, Xuefei Yang, LiGiTa Guitar Festival, Signum Saxophone Quartet, Sorbian National Orchestra, etc.


  • 13 first prizes on International Guitar/Composition Competitions;
  • 2018: Award commission from Slovenian Ministry for Culture (for Guitar Concerto);
  • 2008 – 2013: Scholarship from Slovenian Ministry for Culture;
